Farewell Lunch @ Santini, KLCC

Straight from the American-Italian kitchens, Santini@Suria KLCC offers a wide selection of delicious food fares, from wood fire pizzas to crunchy salads, creamy pasta and grills for weight watchers, all prepared with the freshest blend of ingredients.

I love hanging out at this place for gatherings and their food are pretty good too. Aside from ala-carte in their menu, there are weekly set lunch offered at RM 14.90 inclusive of a main couse and drinks.

It was my manager's last day in early March and "we" who sat at the same island went for a farewell lunch together. :)

Fry Electronics & more FOOD

Weekend is here again! Woo Hoo... I'm always anticipating the weekends! :)

I'm counting down to my Kota Kinabalu trip in April. 12 more days and I’ll be away climbing the great mountains. This is my first time in my entire life that I’m worrying about my trip, due to the fact I haven’t be strict in my exercise regime.

I heard stories about the hectic journey up there. It’ll take 6 hours to reach mid hill and another 3 hours to the top. I’ve been doing a little exercise here and there but not a lot. I’m planning a rigorous exercise plan for the next 12 days. I’ve got to kick my lazy bum and start exercising! :P

Anyway back to more photos of Seattle... Sunset.... on our way driving down to Renton to visit Fry Electronics...

We decided to venture into the Pacific Place - a downtown Seattle's premier shopping, dining and entertainment center.

Acquired by Big River Brewing Company in 1999, Gordon Biersch now has 24 locations in 14 states and Washington D.C. The Gordon Biersch heritage of superior beer, great food and good times are now served up fresh daily in locations stretching coast to coast and across the Pacific to Honolulu.

Valentine's, 14th Feb

My first celebration of Valentine's overseas... :)

Getting to spend time with your loved ones is Valentine's everyday, am I right? LOL! Be it with your friends, families, bf, gf, mum, dad, sis or brother, you can still spend this special day with them regardless of anything.

You exchange gifts, go for some nice dinner, movies and etc, but it's not neccesarily to do all these just one day. You have 365 days a year to shower your love and care to the one that matters the most. :) In fact, I think Vday is just overbranded, prices of food at restaurants are more expensive than usual and it's sooo packed during this special occasion. I rather stroll in the park, go for a movie just to chill and relax. Haha....

Anyway here are somemore photos of downtown Seattle...
Photobucket

Winter time... it was freezing cold.... But I love it... I love winter :)

You see this sign almost everywhere you go....

A trip to United States...

Seattle is a coastal port city and is the largest city in Pacific Northwest region of the United States. It's pretty much a quiet and peaceful city, with less cars and less traffic as compared to other happening places.

The many attractions include Starbucks which was the first franchise founded in 1912, Pike Place Market, Space Needle, Seattle Aquarium and so forth. The BEST thing of all is the FOOD! Seafood are one of the best and freshest you can ever find. So nice....

Since I had a short stay, hence I only conquered Seattle. In fact there are many other interesting states around which are couple of hours away such as Tacoma, Portland, San Francisco, Canada and etc .... shall keep that in future itenery! LOL!

After arriving from Japan, I left for US in a day time... tiring..... On the way from the Singapore airport to Narita, Tokyo...

Osaka Day 2 - Kyoto

My manager was officially gone today, it was her last day with Microsoft and she will be back to Philipines tomorrow. It will be days with lots of planning and proposal approvals in the next couple of weeks before they find a replacement, sigh.... *I don't want the pressure*

March is going to be crazy I believe, aside from my usual work routines; I'll have additional jobs which was covered by my manager earlier in terms of planning. Hence the special someone and I decided to make a trip to Singapore in end of March during the weekends to de-stress a little since he will also be pre-occupied with many many things in the next week few weeks.

*sigh sigh* perhaps I should look at the bright side? :)

Anyway, let's continue with Japan shall we? This time would be more photos of Kyoto, another part of Osaka which we visited and it was my first time. :) The other time I visited Kobe 2 years ago....

Dad's Company Dinner Lou Sang...

Yes I know Chinese New Year was long gone but I still have this pending post to blog about. You can never miss the famous Yee Sang - one of CNY's items which top the list. My dad had a company reunion dinner before CNY at the New Chow Yhang Restaurant near PJ. A pretty nice place for some good authentic Chinese cuisines.

And I'm so happy to be visiting Hong Kong again coming May. We did a last minute booking since my bestie will be going as well. I'm missing the FOOD and shopping!!!! :)

The season this time around would be the end of Spring and the begin of summer in the happening city of HK! I'll be visiting Disneyland this time... *excited*

I'll continue with Japan later in the week. Have a great working week peeps!
